Description
Candles are transparent or translucent, almost colorless or with a yellowish-brown tint, with a smearable surface, hygroscopic, torpedo-shaped.
Cloudiness of the candles, slight softening of the surface layer and sweating of the contour packaging are allowed.

Pharmacological properties

Suppositories with glycerin are a laxative drug. Due to the irritating effect on the rectal mucosa, they stimulate the act of defecation, causing bowel movement.

Indications for use

Suppositories with glycerin are used as a laxative for constipation of various etiologies: functional (habitual), psychogenic, senile, for constipation in sedentary patients and constipation associated with a decrease in the sensitivity of the receptor apparatus of the rectum.

Contraindications

Sharp cracks anus, hemorrhoids in the acute stage, inflammation of the rectal mucosa, rectal tumors.

Directions for use and doses

The suppository is released from the contour packaging, having previously cut it with scissors, and is inserted deep into the anus. Use one suppository per day, preferably 15-20 minutes after breakfast.

Side effect

With prolonged use in some patients, suppositories can cause discomfort in the rectum with the subsequent possible occurrence of catarrhal proctitis. Rectal glycerin suppositories (suppositories) is a local laxative, an effective and safe means of aiding bowel movements. Glycerin suppositories prescribed for all types of constipation, as well as to facilitate bowel movements in patients after perineal surgery.

When inserted into the rectum, the suppository dissolves under the influence of body temperature. Instructions for use

The optimal time to administer a laxative is 15 minutes after a meal.

  3. Lie on your left side, bend your knees and bring them slightly towards your stomach, relax.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of constipation of various etiologies (when the use of oral medications is impossible).
