IRS 19 is available in an easy-to-use dosage form– nasal spray. It looks like a colorless (sometimes yellowish) liquid with a faint odor, placed in a special 20 ml container. Each cylinder comes with an annotation and a spray nozzle.

IRS 19 is a preparation consisting of 18 different lysates (fragments) of bacteria, including Klebsiella, pneumococci, Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae, Acinetobacter, Neisseria, etc. Co. excipients include: glycine, sodium merthiolate, nerol-based flavoring, purified water.

Operating principle of IRS 19

Once on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, bacterial particles:

activate the work of macrophages, cells in human body responsible for the destruction of foreign pathogenic bodies;

At what age is it acceptable for use?

According to the official instructions, this medication is not used for children under 3 months due to the fact that before the baby reaches this age, any stimulation of the immune system is absolutely contraindicated.

for the regeneration of local immunity (children over 3 months and adults) - 1 injection (every turn) 2 times a day (average course duration - 14 days); in preparation for surgery - 1 injection (each stroke) 2 times a day (average course duration is 14 days, with the course starting 1 week before the intended intervention).

Drug interactions
