Now we will tell you how to download all your VKontakte audio recordings to a folder on your computer. To do this, you need to open your VKontakte page and find the synchronization button. It should appear next to the "My Audio" menu item or next to "My Page" if "My Audio" is disabled in your account settings (see image below)

Click on this button. This will start the process of synchronizing audio recordings, as a result of which your collection of audio recordings will be saved in a folder on your computer as mp3 files. The folder and file naming rules can be set in the VKSync settings.

The start of downloading is indicated by a pop-up warning like:

and animation of the application icon in the notification area (the arrows begin to rotate). If you click on this warning or icon, a window will appear with information about the status of the synchronization (downloading) of records:

During the synchronization process, this window can be closed and reopened by clicking on the application icon in the notification area. Saving audio recordings can be interrupted by clicking the "Cancel" button, in this case the synchronization button in the VKontakte menu will change its color to its original color, and the audio collection will only be partially saved.

If problems arise during the synchronization process (most often these are problems with the quality of the Internet connection or failures of the VKontakte network that affect the availability of downloaded files), then information about the number of errors will appear in the information window:

Both in case of cancellation of synchronization, and in case of errors, you can repeat the synchronization again later, in this case only the missing audio recordings will be downloaded.

When synchronization is successful, a pop-up notification will be shown:

the animation of the application icon in the notification area will stop, the synchronization button in the VKontakte menu will finally take on a duller appearance, meaning that your audio collection has been successfully saved.

After this, you can click on the VKSync icon in the notification area to open the main program window (if it is not open):

On it you can see information about the last synchronization of your VKontakte account, and also use the “Open...” button next to the line “Folder with saved audio recordings”. This button will open the corresponding folder in Windows Explorer.

• You can open another VKontakte account and save audio recordings in the same way, VKSync supports working with an unlimited number of accounts, but for convenience, we advise you to distinguish between files of different accounts using an audio recording file name template (by default, subfolders with the names of different accounts are created)
• Adding/deleting new VKontakte audio recordings and changing existing ones will affect the state of the synchronization button; you can start the synchronization process again, during which new files will be downloaded and old ones will be deleted into a special folder
• Over time, audio recordings may be deleted from your VKontakte collection at the request of copyright holders; regular synchronization will help you keep these recordings for yourself. Deleted audio recordings are moved by the VKSync application to a special folder of deleted audio recordings (it can be opened by clicking on the corresponding button on the main application window). If you find tracks there that you personally did not delete, say hello to the copyright holders.
• By default, after downloading, for the convenience of listening to music, playlists in the ".m3u" format are generated: a general playlist and separate playlists for each VKontakte album. The order of audio recordings in these playlists exactly corresponds to the order of audio recordings on VKontakte. You can turn playlist generation on and off in the application settings.

IMPORTANT

If after synchronization you rename or transfer the mp3 files of the collection, then at the next synchronization VKSync will download them again and put them in the same place. If you want to move collection files to another location or change file naming, use the application settings. When you change the file or folder name template for saving audio recordings, VKSync automatically transfers and renames existing downloaded files in accordance with the new settings.

This is not a new application, but a long-established application. It allows you to transfer (copy) music from audio albums or VKontakte recordings to your own audio recordings or community audio recordings. However, the application has both pros and cons.

The advantages of the application are that when you transfer music from an album, exactly the same album will be created for you or in your community, with all tracks added in order from old to new, which results in an exact copy of the album upon completion of copying.

To copy music, you need to indicate in the application itself exactly where to copy from (album or recording) and where to copy (your audio or audio communities), and then indicate a link to the album/record of interest.

It is also worth noting that copying audio recordings to a community is only available to those communities in which you are an administrator.

When copying is complete, you will be prompted to copy another album or recording, or move to the audio album you just copied.
