Far Cry Instinct Predator - I would like to share the game for those who don’t know about it! Personal blog let's remember the old things - Far Cry instinct predator Walkthrough of Far Cry instincts predator

Hello everyone. This topic was created specifically to describe and discuss this game Far Cry Instinct Preadator. Not many of you know about this game, because it was exclusive to Xbox and Xbox360, and this game (as written on Wikipedia) is a remake of the first part of Far Cry released on PC.

What makes the game different is that the game has a bunch of new features, new physics, a new island, a new plot, and all this on the first Far Cry engine. In the game, the main character Jack Carver has new so-called animal abilities with which Jack can now quietly kill enemies in hand-to-hand combat, can be secretive, can set traps and much more.

The plot of the game has also changed. According to the plot of the game, Jack Carver is a former US Navy soldier who was dismissed from service after a series of illegal actions. After that, he opens a store in Manhattan and begins illegally supplying weapons to everyone, the gangs organize showdowns using the weapons supplied by Jack against the mafia heir. Consequently, the gangsters were given a price on their heads, and he was forced to flee the United States and settle in Micronesia.
Next in the story, Jack Carver buys a used yacht from a government auction and whiles away his time ferrying tourists from diving clubs. One day, a girl named Valerie Cortez offers a large sum of money if Jack will transport her to a remote archipelago known as "Yakutan". Carver agrees, but with some caution.

Upon arriving in Yacutan, Cortez "borrows" Jack's jet ski and lands on the island. Unfazed, Jack decides to take a nap while she returns. But Carver wakes up to hear and then see a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter flying around his boat. The helicopter opens fire on Jack, destroying his boat and forcing Jack to take refuge in a nearby destroyed Japanese aircraft carrier.
And it is at this moment that the game begins, when Jack swims underwater to an island nearby to hide from the helicopter. After brief introduction In a level, the player is given a headset, as well as guidance from a mysterious voice who calls himself "Doyle". As it turns out, Cortez is part of the CIA and has arrived to rescue Doyle. Doyle was on a mission to expose the work of mad scientist Dr. Krieger. Krieger, along with his right hand, ex-apartheid Colonel Richard Crowe, tried to develop a serum that would enhance human physical capabilities and “unlock” hidden “animal abilities”. Doyle convinces Carver to find and rescue Cortez, who has been captured by Crow and his mercenaries. While rescuing Cortez, Carver himself is captured by Crow on the orders of Dr. Krieger, who notes Carver's resourcefulness and tenacity and decides that he is R12; good test subject. Carver is injected with the serum and taken to the observation area, awakening prematurely, he escapes, and is shocked to discover that he has "incredible abilities" such as increased speed, night vision, and a powerful hand attack. This is how Jack Carver gained animal powers in this game.

original PC version , Instincts- a less open and more linear game, due to the reduced processing power of consoles, which prevents the full rendering of huge islands and landscapes. However, in Instincts New multiplayer modes, weapons and abilities have been added, the latter being reflected in changes to the storyline. The game was planned to be ported for PlayStation 2 And Nintendo GameCube, but was later cancelled.

Carver buys a used yacht from a government auction and whiles away his time ferrying tourists from diving clubs. One day, a girl named Valerie Cortez offers a large sum of money if Jack will transport her to a remote archipelago known as "Yakutan". Carver agrees, but with some caution.

Upon arriving in Yakutan, Cortez "borrows" Jack's jet skis and lands on the island. Unfazed, Jack decides to take a nap while she returns. But Carver wakes up hearing and then seeing a helicopter UH-60 Black Hawk flying around his boat. He opens fire on him, destroying his boat and forcing him to take refuge in a nearby destroyed Japanese aircraft carrier.

And at this very moment the player gains control. After a brief introduction to the level, the player is given a headset, as well as guidance from a mysterious voice who calls himself "Doyle". As it turned out, Cortez is part of CIA, and arrived to save Doyle. Doyle was on a mission to expose the work of mad scientist Dr. Krieger. Krieger, along with his right hand, ex- apartheid Colonel Richard Crowe, tried to develop a serum that would increase a person’s physical capabilities and “unlock” hidden “animal abilities.”

Doyle convinces Carver to find and rescue Cortez, who has been captured by Crow and his mercenaries. While rescuing Cortez, Carver himself is captured by Crow on the orders of Dr. Krieger, who notes Carver's resourcefulness and tenacity and decides that he is a good test subject. Carver is injected with the serum and taken to a surveillance area, awakening prematurely, he escapes, and is shocked to discover that he has "incredible abilities" such as increased speed, night vision, and a powerful hand attack.

Along with the abilities, there is an implant designed to regulate the effects of the serum and allow you to specialize weapons. Doyle commands Carver to find a way to his position so he can remove the implant. Along the way, the mercenaries try to decipher PDA Valerie Cortez, who covers for Doyle. Carver descends into an old underground bunker from World War II to stop the decryption, but is spotted by mercenaries as he attempts to escape. He retreats through the old underground complex and follows Doyle's instructions to the research facility. Carver then goes into the room, where he discovers Krieger's work and the mutants he created. Carver also learns that Crowe is collecting mutants for an unknown purpose, and then he finally meets with Doyle, who frees him from the implant. After the implant is removed, Jack begins to show uncontrolled development, the adrenaline consumption of his abilities decreases, and he acquires the ability to carry and wield weapons such as a heavy machine gun 50 caliber.

After Jack escapes the research facility, he discovers that Crow has captured Doyle and injected him with the serum, and disbanded the mutants in a plot to betray Krieger. Jack must fight Crowe mercenaries, wild mutants and an elite special forces team under the personal command of Krieger. While rescuing Doyle, Carver learns that Crowe injected himself with a quadruple dose of the serum. Assuming control over the "alpha" beings, the most powerful and intelligent mutants with abilities similar to those of Jack, Crow headed straight for Krieger's base. Jack follows Dr. Krieger's hideout atop an active volcano, where he defeats the physically deformed Crow. Krieger, in a last ditch attempt, uses the Alphas against Jack, but realizes that they view Jack as their leader due to his victory over Qrow. The mutants head to Dr. Krieger and kill him, viewing him as a threat to Jack, allowing him to escape before the volcano erupts. Jack is able to retreat in a Black Hawk piloted by Cortez and Doyle, who promise to pay for a new boat to replace the destroyed one; Doyle also promises that they will “do better” and opens the metal case and the helicopter flies away.

Peculiarities

The game includes subtle thematic elements regarding dangers genetic engineering, as well as the genocide of the local islanders, which can be seen as deformed creatures created by Krieger. Additionally, mysterious conditions related to dinosaurs are revealed through the in-game radio. This development is manifested in the lizard-like animals (which resemble small dinosaurs) that live in the jungle on the island.

Landscape in the game Far Cry: Instincts varies greatly - it includes tropical rainforests, thick jungle, high canyons , mines , swamps, and even volcanic forests.

Besides the main gameplay Far Cry: Instincts, the PC version did not have the aforementioned "Beast Abilities". There is also a trap system that allows the player to create booby traps by scattering thorny branches near nearby foliage. When unsuspecting NPCs walk by, they are killed with a whip made of branches. Anti-personnel mines are also available and can be placed in the path of enemies, leading to devastating results. These traps can also be used in multiplayer. There is also a map editor that allows the player to create their own maps, with access to a variety of vehicles, weapons, buildings, trees, as well as the ability to change the terrain. Water cannot be added, only at a constant height, and so by making the ground higher or lower, the player can choose whether water is needed. Maps can be downloaded and used on Xbox Live to play with friends.

Good day to all. This is my first blog on this gaming portal, so if you find any errors in it, write, we will correct it)). I also ask you not to judge strictly, because I am not a professional blogger, but just an amateur to share my opinion. Recently, Ubisoft announced a new Far Cry with the postscript Primal, which according to the plot should take us back in time, back to the Stone Age, where we will play as the first person to set foot on the earth, hunt and survive in the cruel periods of that time. In this regard, I decided to write this blog, but I decided to dedicate it not to Far Cry Primal itself, but to one of practically the very first games in the series, the name of which is Far Cry Instinct Predator. So, let's begin!.. Far Cry Instinct Predator was released in 2006 exclusively for the Xbox 360, and it was developed on the already well-known CryEngine engine. This game was developed and published by the same Ubisoft studio, or to be precise, Ubisoft Montreal. This game is essentially a kind of rethinking of the standard Far Cry on new way, where the events are slightly modified and served on an almost new platter. Our protagonist is still the already well-known Jack Carver, who is a former special forces soldier and who owns a small company that rents out boats. He works with a reporter named Valerie Cortez, who by the way was originally called Valerie Constantine (if I'm not mistaken). Well, in the end, everything is already familiar to us from the original, because Jack takes her to the mysterious island of Yakutan where all the events will take place. Before our main characters have time to swim to the island and settle down there, this same Valerie immediately “borrows” a jet ski from Jack and with the words (I won’t be long and will be back soon) goes to the island. At that time, our main character Without worrying about anything, he lay down to rest on his own boat, but again, as soon as the main character lay down, a helicopter immediately appeared out of nowhere, flying around the boat. Jack shouts towards the helicopter that he is a simple fisherman who supposedly swam here to catch fish and relax, but the helicopter crew decides everything differently and begins to make fun of Jack’s boat, during which the boat was sunk, and Jack quietly disappeared under the water and swam to the island. From this moment the game begins. I won’t tell you what happened next in the plot, so as not to spoil the intrigue for those who haven’t played the game yet :) Now about the gameplay. The gameplay in the game is almost the same as in the usual Far Cry, only this Instinct Predator has its own features. For example, as we progress through the game (I won’t say why) our main character acquires animal abilities, thanks to which Jack can quietly and quickly kill his adversaries. The game also has a trap system that allows the player to create booby traps by scattering nets with spikes near nearby foliage, and when enemies unsuspectingly walk along the road, they instantly fall into this same trap. These are the features and differences of this game from the original!.. In general, this is still the same good old Far Cry but slightly remade. The graphics in the game have been slightly improved, of course it’s not Crysis, I’ll tell you, but it’s also pleasing to the eye!.. Also, this game has a sequel with the postscript Evolution. It includes both the main and new single-player campaigns, but they are now significantly accelerated, unlike the original. Such a game!.. I hope you enjoy the blog. Also, if there are errors, write about them, and I will try to correct them. Thank you all for your attention!
