The man who hasn't slept for 10 years. A man who never sleeps and never ages. His life is one long day

Photos from open sources

A person can live up to 30 days without food, up to 5 days without water, and 3-4 days without sleep. But there are people who, contrary to all generally accepted canons of medicine, do not sleep for weeks, months and even years! (website)

People who haven't slept for years

One day in January 1962, teacher Joan Moore returned home late at night. That day was very stressful for her. She sat down in a chair to take a little nap, yawned sweetly in anticipation of sleep... But no matter how much Joan yawned, sleep did not come. She spent that night without sleep. And the next one, and all the subsequent ones. Since then, she spends every night sitting in a chair, looking into the night, waiting for the dawn.

Vietnamese Nguyen Van Kha has not slept since 1980. Moreover, he cannot even close his eyes. As soon as he closes his eyelids, his eyes immediately begin to burn painfully. Nguyen is over 50 years old, but he feels well, his consciousness is not clouded. As doctors say, the well-being of the Vietnamese can be the envy of many of his fellow tribesmen.

Representatives World Organization Health officials have discovered an unusual monk in Tibet who has not slept for decades. Dawa is no different from the other monks of the monastery - he eats, walks, prays the same way, with the exception of one thing: he has not slept for almost 80 years.

Joan, Nguyen and Dava do not suffer at all from lack of sleep, lead an active lifestyle and have already adapted to the unusual daily routine. Scientists suggest that all three have rare disease– chronic cholestitis (insomnia). But the presence of this disease explains wakefulness for several days, but not years! How their brain and body functions without much-needed rest is a mystery.
However, there are even more mysterious cases.

The person who will live forever?

In 1979, 26-year-old Minsk resident Yakov Tsiperovich received severe poisoning. When did she arrive? ambulance", he was in a state of clinical death. Doctors saved his life. But Yakov, who had been on the other side of existence, returned back completely different. His natural body temperature after the “excursion to the next world” is 34 degrees. He never sleeps. At the same time, he does not feel tired, his strength never runs out.

But the most amazing thing is that he does not age. Today he still looks the same at 26. Yakov currently lives in Germany, but German doctors, like Russian specialists, are unable to explain this phenomenon.

Tsiperovich experienced an interesting shift in his psyche and worldview - he does not feel the years he has lived, he does not feel time. Yakov never thinks how many years he has lived and how much time he has left. He perceives his life as endless.

Time simply stopped for him. Maybe he's immortal?

I'm shocked
Now he is 43 years old, although outwardly you can’t tell he’s more than 27. His wife Karina has long been accustomed to her husband’s unusual abilities. Son Sasha goes to first grade and also wants to be just like dad. It would seem like an ordinary Minsk family, steadfastly enduring all the current Belarusian economic turmoil. Everything would really be normal if it weren’t for the presence of a phenomenon that is extremely rare in the world. It all started quite banally. In 1979, when Yakov was 26 years old, his first wife, out of jealousy, decided to poison her husband. The attempt ended tragically: clinical death, intensive care, almost a week of complete non-existence. After Yakov woke up, he did not recognize not only the world, but also himself. “I felt a complete change in my thoughts,” he says. - My head was filled with knowledge that simply had nowhere to come from. It was a real waterfall of new ideas, expressed in poetic form, which was also a novelty for me. There was a lot I didn’t understand, just passively letting it pass through my consciousness. I saw a different world around me, everything began to be perceived very clearly. I began to see the causes and consequences of many events, I understood who was who, and this understanding was not the fruit of reflection, but came from somewhere completely and immediately. I felt acutely that I was not who I was before. But that was not all. It happens that as a result of some critical events, people feel a substitution of the soul. This, as a rule, is followed by a complete change in the person’s personality: his habits, character traits, etc. Something more happened to Yakov: he did not recognize own body! There were moments when he sat down and felt his arms, legs, and face in surprise. Everything seemed to be in order, but at the same time it was unfamiliar. It was strange to feel how the hand that is always obedient to you reacts to your commands differently than it did before. The strangeness did not end there. After Yakov returned to normal life, he discovered that he could not sleep. You shouldn't think that it was a wonderful feeling. He really wanted to sleep, as happens during insomnia, but he could not fall asleep. Unlike insomnia, when a person lies passively and sleep cannot come, Yakov simply could not lie down. “Imagine a roly-poly toy,” Yakov explains. - No matter how hard they try to lay him down, he still ends up in a vertical position. I had exactly the same situation. I lay down on the bed, and immediately some force lifted me up and sat me down on the bed. As soon as oblivion began, something like a click was heard in my head, which returned me to a state of wakefulness. It was a real nightmare and a continuous struggle for the opportunity to lose yourself in sleep even for a moment! This did not stop for a week, a month, a year. I was scared, because I thought that my body would not withstand such a load. Now I remember that period with horror! Then came the turning point. Suddenly, as if by magic, strength began to flow, muscles began to build up on their own, and weight increased. There was a feeling of enormous physical strength, which seemed to come from somewhere within. He stopped getting tired. Once, trying to establish the limits of his physical capabilities, Yakov did 10,000 push-ups intermittently for nine hours, but did not achieve the desired result of fatigue, which would help him sleep. The lack of sleep was no longer perceived as physical suffering, all that remained was psychological dependence, something like an attitude - “A person must sleep!”

Insomnia became easier to bear. It turned out that the painful process of forming a new organism, or perhaps a new person, seemed to have ended and a period of his growth began, just as a child grows, constantly discovering more and more new possibilities and gaining strength. And finally, another phenomenal ability appeared only many years later, when, meeting with friends, classmates, acquaintances of the same age who were going bald, graying, and acquiring wrinkles, he was surprised to notice that he himself remained completely unchanged. The body seemed to be preserved, and, most likely, the reason for this was the same state of clinical death, which gave him the opportunity to do without sleep. Looking at photographs from twenty years ago, it is quite easy to verify this. “I stopped feeling the passage of time,” says Yakov. - For me it does not exist. There is no division into day and night, it is all one indivisible process. For me, life is like one huge day. Probably, the feeling of timelessness is a consequence of the state when the body suddenly becomes immune to the aging process. I live outside of time. It seems to me that life will always exist. By the way, there is some objective evidence of the presence of a process of “preservation” of the body.

Jacob's body temperature for a long time did not exceed 34 degrees and only in the last year rose to 35 degrees, that is, the body seemed to plunge into a state of suspended animation, when metabolic processes were extremely slow. Well, what does science, and in particular medicine, say? After all, perhaps it is the Tsiperovich phenomenon that will provide a recipe for eternal life. Add to this remarkable physical abilities, as well as a significant increase in time for self-realization, work, and creativity. Alas, science traditionally says nothing. Yakov speaks of doctors and scientists with poorly concealed resentment: “No one seriously studied my abilities.” On my own initiative, I repeatedly went for examinations, where an encephalogram was taken and tests were done. The trouble is that my body is in excellent condition and, accordingly, excellent tests. There are no anomalies there. Once I was even accused of simulation. In the first years, I traveled to hospitals in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and was examined by professors Wayne and Ilyin. The Bekhtereva Brain Institute refused to take me for examination. There I was told: “You never know why a person doesn’t sleep. Many people don’t sleep.” After traditional medicine tried to recover from a strange “illness” from psychics - Moscow Juna, Minsk psychoneurologists Plavlinskaya, Semyonova. Everyone said the same thing: “You are absolutely healthy.” Appealing to scientists from academic science also yielded nothing, they only laughed: “We have enough of our own problems.” So no one here is interested in my abilities.” How can you use such a gift - an additional 8 hours of full-time working time, and even if you are in excellent physical shape? “Oddly enough, I don’t use this time in any way,” Yakov answered after thinking. - The Lord gave me life, and I just live. Besides, understand, for me this is not extra time, but just ordinary time that every person has, and I fill it with ordinary things. Of course, there are certain specifics: you won’t do noisy things at night when everyone around you is sleeping. So at this time I read, write, think. Last year I spend a lot of time learning to sleep. Of course, this is not a real dream, but with the help of some mediation techniques, I learned to completely disconnect from the outside world for several hours. In the first years, I struggled with insomnia in a different way - I tried to forget myself with the help of sleeping pills and swallowed huge quantities of radedorm, elenium, and relanium. The battle ended in victory for the body: sleep did not come, there was only a feeling of lethargy and depression, which could not replace the feeling of full sleep. Therefore from medicines I immediately refused. I must say that even now I still want to become normal person who can sleep. Yakov writes poetry, of which he has accumulated a fair amount. The content of the poems, as a rule, is philosophical and lyrical. By the way, the Japanese and French made a film about the Tsiperovich phenomenon, central and local newspapers wrote, the Belarusian radio station “Svoboda” made a program about him. “Honestly,” Yakov complained, “the journalists did me a very disservice.” After the publications, I can’t calmly go out into the street: people are already coming up in the yard and starting to ask questions. Lots of phone calls.

None of this fits my reclusive lifestyle. Moreover, life became unsafe: one day sectarians came to me, knocked on my door, demanded a meeting - for some reason they needed me. The only thing that saved me was that I have a huge Caucasian Shepherd. So fame was not so pleasant.

22. People who don't sleep

Medicine often faces the most unfortunate discoveries. Judge for yourself - this seems to be a truism before us, but in fact it is false. For example, a person cannot exist without sleep, isn’t this an axiom? Of course, he may not sleep for some time, but without sleep he will last no longer than without food. Sleep, they tell medical students, is food for the brain. Put the brain on a starvation diet - and the person dies!

In the forties, there lived on the outskirts of Trenton, New Jersey, an old eccentric named Al Herpin. And he was then about 90 years old, and he lived in a shack made of roofing felt sheets. There were many similar shacks there, in which poor homeless people, just like him, lived. But Al Herpin's shack was still special. There was no bed, no trestle bed, no hammock. There was a reason for this - Al Herpin never slept a wink in his entire long life.

Dozens of doctors examined him, holding weekly vigils in shifts. The result was completely discouraging. He really did not sleep, but he did not die, although according to all the laws of medicine he could not help but die. Having lived to the age of ninety, Al Herpin outlived many of the doctors who examined him, precisely those doctors who slept regularly. Mental capacity Al Herpin's were generally average, his health and appetite were good. He did not disdain any work.

After a day's work, Al, of course, was tired, but since he could not sleep, he simply sat in his favorite rocking chair and began to read until he felt rested. Thus refreshed and restored to strength, he was ready to work again.

Although the doctors who examined him could not find a suitable explanation for his fantastic chronic insomnia, Al himself was inclined to share the point of view of his mother, who at one time said that he could not sleep because she was very hurt just before giving birth. There were other similar cases. Among the insomniacs was the well-known David Jones of Anderson, Indiana. Here is what the local newspaper wrote about him on December 11, 1895: “David Jones attracted the attention of all medicine by the fact that two years ago he did not sleep for 93 days, and last year for 131 days; Now he is beginning a new attack of insomnia, which, as David Jones himself believes, will be even longer lasting. Three weeks ago he was placed under constant surveillance; Counting today, he has not slept for twenty days. He eats and talks as usual, is very active and busy with activities. He does not feel any unpleasant effects, just as he did not feel any after the 131-day vigil last year. During that period he was intensely involved in the affairs of the farm. He says he feels like he will never sleep. This prospect doesn't seem to bother him. Mr. Jones does not know the reason for this abnormality, the only thing he points to is that in his youth he smoked a lot."

Unable to explain the Jones phenomenon as a hoax and unwilling to recognize it as an indisputable fact, medicine left its incomprehensible patient alone.

The same newspaper published a report about an unhappy housewife from Cegléd, Hungary. Mrs. Rachel Saghi woke up one morning in 1911 with a head-splitting pain. The pain did not go away for a long time, and she went to see a doctor, who explained the malaise as abuse of sleep and advised her to sleep less. Although it sounds funny, the doctor seems to have been right. From that day until her death in 1936, Rachel Sagi never slept a wink again, living without sleep for 25 years, 2 months and 11 days. As soon as she stopped sleeping, she forgot about the headache.

The most recent case of this kind to be leaked to the press concerned a farm worker of Spanish origin.

Valentin Medina, who was already 61 years old, came to Madrid on the morning of November 29, 1960. He walked 140 miles from Southern Castile to Madrid in 4 days and 4 nights. I stopped on the side of the road to rest a little when my “legs were already buzzing a lot.”

What made him make this grueling journey? Medina came to Madrid on the advice of provincial doctors to find out whether the capital's luminaries could cure him of prolonged insomnia.

He said that local doctors could not help him. The capital's doctors contacted the locals, and they confirmed the uniqueness of the diagnosis. It turns out that one local doctor remembers him like this from childhood; his father, also a doctor, tried to treat him fifty years ago.

After a long examination at a hospital in Madrid, doctors came to the conclusion that Valentin Medina really cannot sleep. They were so touched by his sincerity and poverty that they collected money for his ticket and sent him back by train: this was his first trip in his life.

In an interview with newspaper representatives, Medina said:

- I work like an ox. I have never been tired at work in my life. I still use my finger instead of a signature, but I would like to learn to read and write. If I learned to read, the nights would become shorter for me. All my life at night I sit in the kitchen by the stove and wait for the roosters to crow.

The doctors who examined Medina in the hospital sent him home, providing him with potent sedatives in the hope that he will get some sleep at least once in his life. Three weeks later, a letter arrived in Madrid from the doctor Medina, in which he thanks his colleagues for the kindness shown to his strange patient. At the same time, he reported that his ward stopped taking the pills, because after the next dose his legs became weak and seemed to fall asleep, but he himself still did not sleep.

In August 1961, Eustace Burnett, an English farmer, turned 81 years old. He lived on his farm near Leicester and was no different from the local old farmers, except that he never slept. One day he lost the desire to sleep. This happened to him at the age of 27. For 54 years now, at night he has been reading books, listening to the radio and solving crossword puzzles, while the rest of the family snore sweetly and whistle in their sleep. Doctors visited him from everywhere to see with their own eyes the sleepless man and make sure that he was completely healthy.

Of course, the doctors tried to get him to sleep, but they only wasted both their time and Burnett's time. Hypnosis did not even make him drowsy, but the sleeping pills gave him a headache.

After the doctors left, Burnett returned to normal life: at night he lay in bed for six hours to give his body rest while his brain continued to work.

Eustace Burnett, like Valentin Medina, could say without exaggeration: “I never slept last year.”

Near the Maisi River in Brazil lives an extraordinary tribe of Piraha Indians. With a unique way of life and your own faith. Writer and former missionary Daniel Everett lived among the Pirahã for 30 years!

They can't count - even to one. They live here and now and do not make plans for the future. The past has no meaning for them. They do not know the hours, days, mornings, nights, and even more so, the daily routine. They eat when they are hungry, and sleep only in fits and starts of half an hour, believing that prolonged sleep takes away strength.

They are unaware of private property and do not care at all about everything that is valuable to a modern civilized person. They are unaware of the anxieties, fears and prejudices that plague 99 percent of the world's population.

People who don't sleep.

What do people say to each other when they go to bed? IN different cultures wishes sound, of course, differently, but everywhere they express the hope of the speaker that his opponent will sleep sweetly, see pink butterflies in his dreams and wake up in the morning fresh and full of energy. In Piraha, " Good night” sounds like “Just don’t try to sleep! There are snakes everywhere!”

The Piraha believe that sleeping is harmful. First of all, sleep makes you weak. Secondly, in a dream you seem to die and wake up as a slightly different person. And the problem is not that you won’t like this new person - you’ll simply stop being yourself if you start sleeping too long and too often. Well, thirdly, there really are a lot of snakes here. So the Pirahã don't sleep at night. They doze in fits and starts, for 20-30 minutes, leaning against the wall of a palm hut or snuggling under a tree. And the rest of the time they chat, laugh, make something, dance around the fires and play with children and dogs. Nevertheless, the dream slowly changes the Pirahã - any of them remembers that before there were some other people instead of him.

“They were much smaller, did not know how to have sex and even fed on milk from their breasts. And then those people all disappeared somewhere, and now instead of them it’s me. And if I don't sleep for a long time, then perhaps I won't disappear. Having discovered that the trick did not work out and I changed again, I take a different name for myself...” On average, the Pirahã change their name once every 6-7 years, and for each age they have their own suitable names, so you can always tell by name, we are talking about a child, teenager, youth, man or old man

People without tomorrow.

Perhaps it is precisely such a structure of life in which night sleep not dividing the days with the inevitability of a metronome has allowed the Pirahã to establish a very strange relationship with the category of time. They do not know what “tomorrow” is and what “today” is, and they also have poor understanding of the concepts of “past” and “future”. So the Pirahãs do not know any calendars, timekeeping or other conventions. That’s why they never think about the future, because they simply don’t know how to do it.

Averea first visited the Pirahã in 1976, when nothing was known about the Pirahã. And the linguist-missionary-ethnographer experienced his first shock when he saw that the Pirahã were not stockpiling food. At all. For a tribe leading a virtually primitive way of life not to care about the coming day is, according to all canons, impossible. But the fact remains: the Pirahã do not store food, they simply catch it and eat it (or do not catch it and do not eat it, if their hunting and fishing luck betrays them).

When the Pirahã have no food, they are phlegmatic about it. He doesn’t even understand why he eats every day, and even several times. They eat no more than twice a day and often indulge in fasting days, even when there is a lot of food in the village.

People without numbers.

For a long time, missionary organizations failed in their attempts to enlighten the hearts of the Pirahã and direct them to the Lord. No, the Pirahã warmly greeted representatives of Catholic and Protestant missionary organizations, gladly covered their nakedness with beautiful donated shorts and ate canned compote from jars with interest. But this is where the communication actually ended.

No one has ever been able to understand the Pirahã language. Therefore, the US Evangelical Church did a smart thing: they sent a young but talented linguist there. Everett was prepared for the language to be difficult, but he was wrong: “This language was not difficult, it was unique. There is nothing else like it on Earth."

It has only seven consonants and three vowels. More more problems with vocabulary. The Pirahã do not know pronouns, and if they need to show in speech the difference between “I”, “you” and “they”, the Pirahã ineptly use the pronouns used by their neighbors, the Tupi Indians (the only people with whom the Pirahã had some contact)

Verbs and nouns are not particularly distinguished between them, and in general the language norms familiar to us seem to have been drowned out here as unnecessary. For example, the Pirahã do not understand the meaning of “one.” Badgers, crows, and dogs understand, but the Pirahã do not. For them, this is such a complex philosophical category that anyone who tries to tell the Pirahã what it is, at the same time can retell the theory of relativity.

They don’t know numbers or counting, making do with just two concepts: “a few” and “a lot.” Two, three and four piranhas are a few, but six is clearly a lot. What is one piranha? It's just a piranha. It’s easier for a Russian to explain why articles are needed before words than to explain to a Pirahã why they should count a piranha if it’s a piranha that doesn’t need to be counted. Therefore, the Pirahã will never believe that they are a small people. There are 300 of them, which is certainly a lot. It is useless to talk to them about 7 billion: 7 billion is also a lot. There are many of you, and there are many of us, it’s just wonderful.

People without politeness.

“Hello”, “how are you?”, “thank you”, “goodbye”, “sorry”, “please” - people of the big world use a lot of words to show how well they treat each other. The Pirahã do not use any of the above. Even without all this, they love each other and have no doubt that everyone around them is a priori happy to see them. Politeness is the byproduct of mutual distrust, a feeling that the Pirahã, according to Everett, are completely devoid of.

People without shame.

The Pirahã do not understand shame, guilt or resentment. If Haaiohaaa dropped a fish into the water, it’s bad. No fish, no lunch. But what does Haaiohaaa have to do with it? He just dropped the fish into the water. If little Kihiohkiaa pushed Okiohkiaa, it was bad because Okiohkiaa broke his leg and it needed to be treated. But it happened because it happened, that's all.

Even small children are not scolded or shamed here. They may be told that grabbing coals from a fire is stupid, they will hold a child playing on the bank so that he does not fall into the river, but they do not know how to scold the Pirahã.

If a nursing baby does not take the mother’s breast, then no one will force feed him: he knows better why he does not eat. If a woman who has gone to the river to give birth cannot give birth and the forest is filled with screams for the third day, it means that she does not really want to give birth, but wants to die. There is no need to go there and dissuade her from doing it. Well, the husband can still go there - in case he has compelling arguments. But why is a white man trying to run there with strange iron things in a box?

People who see differently.

The Pirahã have surprisingly few rituals or religious beliefs. The Piraha know that they, like all living things, are children of the forest. The forest is full of secrets... no, the forest is a universe devoid of laws, logic and order. There are many spirits in the forest. All the dead go there. That's why the forest is scary.

But the fear of the Pirahã is not the fear of the European. When we are afraid, we feel bad. The Pirahã consider fear simply a very strong feeling, not without a certain charm. You could say they love to be afraid.

One day, Everett woke up in the morning and saw that the entire village was crowded on the shore. It turned out that a spirit had come there, wanting to warn the Pirahã about something. Coming out onto the beach, Everett found that a crowd was standing around an empty place and talking fearfully, but animatedly, to this empty place. To the words: “There’s no one there! “I don’t see anything” - Everett was told that he was not supposed to see, since the spirit came precisely to the Pirahã. And if he needs Everet, then a personal spirit will be sent to him.

People without God.

All of the above made the Pirahã an impossible target for missionary work. The idea of a single god, for example, stalled among them for the reason that the Pirahã, as already mentioned, are not friends with the concept of “one”. Messages that someone had created them were also met with bewilderment by the Pirahã. Wow, such a big and intelligent man, but he doesn’t know how people are made.

The story of Jesus Christ translated into Pirahã also did not look very convincing. The concept of “century”, “time” and “history” is an empty phrase for the Pirahã. Hearing about a very kind man who was nailed to a tree by evil people, the Pirahã asked Eferett if he had seen it himself. No? Did Epherett see the man who saw this Christ? Also no? Then how can he know what was there?

Living among these small, half-starved, never sleeping, never in a hurry, constantly laughing, he came to the conclusion that man is a much more complex creature than the Bible tells us, and religion does not make us better or happier. Only years later did he realize that he needed to learn from the Pirahã, and not the other way around.

White people have an amazing “talent” for brazenly invading supposedly undeveloped territories and imposing their own rules, customs and religion. The World History colonization is a clear confirmation of this. But still, one day, somewhere on the edge of the earth, a tribe was discovered whose people never succumbed to missionary and educational activities, because this activity seemed worthless and extremely unconvincing to them.

American preacher, part-time ethnographer and linguist Daniel Everett arrived in the Amazon jungle in 1977 to spread the word of God. His goal was to tell about the Bible to those who knew nothing about it - to set savages and atheists on the true path. But instead, the missionary met people living in such harmony with the world around them that they themselves converted him to their faith, and not vice versa.

First discovered by Portuguese gold miners 300 years ago, the Piraha tribe lives in four villages in the area of the Maisi River, a tributary of the Amazon. And it was thanks to the American, who devoted years of his life to studying their way of life and language, that it gained worldwide fame.

The story of Jesus Christ made no impression on the Piraha Indians. The idea that a missionary seriously believed stories about a man whom he himself had never seen seemed to them the height of absurdity.

Dan Everett: “I was only 25. Then I was an ardent believer. I was ready to die for my faith. I was ready to do whatever she asked. Then I did not understand that imposing my beliefs on other people is the same colonization, only colonization at the level of beliefs and ideas. I came to tell them about God and about salvation so that these people could go to heaven and not to hell. But I met special people there for whom most of the things that were important to me did not matter. They couldn’t understand why I decided that I had the right to explain to them how to live.”

“Their quality of life was in many ways better than most religious people I knew. I found the worldview of these Indians very inspiring and correct,” Everett recalls.

But it was not only Piraha’s philosophy of life that shook the young scientist’s value system. The Aboriginal language turned out to be so different from all others known language groups, which literally turned upside down the traditional understanding of the fundamental principles of linguistics. “Their language is not so complex as it is unique. There is nothing else like it on Earth.” Compared to others, the language of these people seems “more than strange” - it has only seven consonants and three vowels. But in Piraha you can speak, hum, whistle and even communicate with birds.

One of their books, which Everett wrote under the impression of “incredible and completely different Indians,” is called: “Don’t sleep there are snakes!”, which literally translates: “Don’t sleep, there are snakes everywhere!” Indeed, among the Pirahas it is not customary to sleep for a long time - only 20-30 minutes and only as needed. They are convinced that long sleep can change a person, and if you sleep a lot, there is a risk of losing yourself, becoming completely different. They do not have a daily routine as a fact, and they simply do not need regular eight-hour sleep. For this reason, they do not sleep at night, but only doze a little where fatigue overtakes them. To stay awake, they rub their eyelids with the juice of one of the tropical plants.

Observing the changes in their body associated with the stages of growing up and aging, the Pirahã believe that sleep is to blame. Gradually changing, each Indian takes a new name for himself - this happens on average once every six to eight years. They have their own names for each age, so that, knowing the name, you can always tell who we are talking about - a child, a teenager, an adult or an old man.

Everett's 25 years as a missionary did not in any way change the Pirahã's beliefs. But the scientist, in turn, gave up religion once and for all and became even more immersed in scientific activity, becoming a professor of linguistics. While comprehending the worlds of the Aboriginal people, Daniel kept coming across things that were difficult for him to wrap his head around. One of these phenomena is the absolute absence of counting and numerals. The Indians of this tribe use only two corresponding words: “few” and “many.”

“The Pirahã don’t use numbers because they don’t need them—they get along just fine without it. I was once asked: “So Pirahã mothers don’t know how many children they have?” I replied: “They do not know the exact number of their children, but they know them by name and face. They don’t need to know the number of children to recognize and love them.”

Even more uncanny is the lack of separate words for colors. It’s hard to believe, but the aborigines living in the middle of tropical jungles filled with bright colors have only two words for the colors of this world - “light” and “dark”. At the same time, all Pirahã successfully pass the color separation test, distinguishing the silhouettes of birds and animals in a mixture of multi-colored strokes.

Unlike their neighbors from other tribes, these people do not create decorative patterns on their bodies, which indicates a complete lack of art. Pirahã has no past or future tense forms. Myths and legends also do not exist here - collective memory is built only on the personal experience of the oldest living member of the tribe. At the same time, each of them has truly encyclopedic knowledge about thousands of plants, insects and animals - remembering all the names, properties and features.

Another phenomenon of these extraordinary inhabitants of the remote Brazilian countryside - complete absence food hoarding ideas. Everything that is caught by hunting or fishing is immediately eaten. And they go for a new portion only when they are very hungry. If a foray for food does not bring results, they treat it philosophically - they say that eating often is as harmful as sleeping a lot. The idea of storing food for future use seems as absurd to them as the tales of white-skinned people about a single god.

Piraha is eaten no more than twice a day, and sometimes even less. Watching how Everett and his family devoured their next lunch, dinner or dinner, the Piraha were sincerely perplexed: “Is it possible to eat so much? You will die like this!”

With private property, things are also not like with people. Most of the things are common. Except that everyone has their own simple clothes and personal weapons. However, if a person does not use this or that item, it means that he does not need it. And, therefore, such a thing can be easily borrowed. If this fact upsets the previous owner, then it will be returned to him. It should also be noted that Piraha children do not have toys, which, however, does not in the least prevent them from playing with each other, plants, dogs and forest spirits.

If you set yourself the goal of finding people on our Planet who are free from any prejudices, then here Piraha comes first. No forced joy, no false politeness, no “thank you,” “sorry,” or “please.” Why is all this necessary when the Piraha already love each other without any stupid formalities? Moreover, they do not doubt for a second that not only their fellow tribesmen, but also other people are always happy to see them. Feelings of shame, resentment, guilt or regret are also alien to them. Anyone has the right to do what he wants. Nobody educates or teaches anyone. It is impossible to imagine that any of them would steal or kill.

“You will not find Piraha syndrome chronic fatigue. You won't encounter suicide here. The very idea of suicide is contrary to their nature. I have never seen anything even remotely reminiscent of them mental disorders, which we associate with depression or melancholy. They just live for today, and they are happy. They sing at night. This is simply a phenomenal level of satisfaction - without psychotropic drugs and antidepressants,” shares Everett, who has devoted more than 30 years of his life to Pirahã.

The relationship between the children of the jungle and the world of dreams also goes beyond our usual boundaries. “They have a completely different concept of objective and subjective. Even when they dream, they don't separate them from real life. Experiences experienced while asleep are considered as important as those experienced while awake. So, if I dreamed that I walked on the moon, then from their point of view, I actually took such a walk,” Dan explains.

The Piraha see themselves as an integral part of nature - children of the forest. For them, the forest is a complex living organism, towards which they experience genuine awe, and sometimes even fear. The forest is filled with inexplicable and strange things that they do not try to solve. And there are also a whole lot of mysterious spirits living there. The Piraha believe that after death they will certainly join their ranks - then they will receive answers to all their questions. In the meantime, there is no point in filling your head with all sorts of nonsense.

Everett repeatedly observed how his Indian friends communicated with invisible spirits in an extremely animated, loud voice - as if they were ordinary people. When asked why the scientist did not see anything like this, he always received a categorical answer - they say, what is incomprehensible here - the spirits did not come to him, but to Piraha.

Contrary to Daniel's fears related to the possible disappearance of the tribe due to a collision with the Big World, the number of Pirahas today has increased from 300 to 700 people. Four days' journey along the river, the tribe still lives quite isolated today. Here they still hardly build houses and do not cultivate the soil to meet their needs, completely relying on nature. Clothing is the Piraha's only concession to modern life. They are extremely reluctant to accept the benefits of civilization. “They agree to accept only certain gifts. They need fabric, tools, machetes, aluminum utensils, thread, matches, sometimes flashlights and batteries, hooks and fishing line. They never ask for anything big - just little things,” comments Dan, who has thoroughly studied the customs and preferences of his unusual friends.

“I think they are happy because they don’t worry about the past and the future. They feel able to take care of their needs today. They don't strive to get things they don't have. If I give them something, good. If not, that's good too. Unlike us, they are not materialists. They value the ability to travel quickly and easily. I have never seen anywhere (even among other Indians of the Amazon) such a calm attitude towards material objects.”

As you know, nothing changes consciousness and inner world more than travel. And the further you manage to get from home, the faster and more powerful this effect is. Going beyond the familiar and familiar world can become the most powerful, vibrant and unforgettable experience in life. It’s worth leaving your comfort zone to see something you haven’t seen before and learn about something you had no idea about before.

“I have often drawn parallels between the Pirahã worldview and Zen Buddhism,” Everett continues. “As for the Bible, I realized that for a long time I was a hypocrite, because I myself did not fully believe in what I was saying. Man is a much more complex creature than the Holy Scriptures tell us, and religion does not make us better or happier. I'm currently working on a book called "The Wisdom of Travelers" - about how important and useful lessons we can learn from people who are very different from ourselves. And the greater the differences, the more we can learn. You won’t get such a valuable experience in any library.”

It is unlikely that anyone on this Planet will have an exact definition of what happiness is. Perhaps happiness is living without regrets and fear of the future. It is difficult for people in megacities to understand how this is even possible. But the natives from the Piraha tribe, living “here and now,” simply do not know any other way. What they do not see for themselves does not exist for them. Such people do not need God. “We don’t need heaven, we need what’s on earth,” say the most happy people There are people in the world whose faces never leave a smile - the Piraha Indians.

Today at Big World only three people speak Pirahã - Everett, his ex-wife, and the missionary who was Daniel's predecessor in the lost Amazon jungle.

What is the Pirahã language and culture? Here are their main features (and main feature- extreme poverty of abstract thinking):

  1. The world's poorest set of phonemes. There are three vowels (a, i, o) and eight consonants (p, t, k, ‘, b, g, s, h). True, almost each of the consonant phonemes corresponds to two allophones. In addition, the language also has a “whistle” version, used to transmit signals during hunting.

  2. Absolutely no billing. All other peoples of the world, no matter how primitive they may be, can count to at least two, that is, they distinguish between “one”, “two” and more than two. Pirahas can’t even count… to one. They do not distinguish between singularity and plurality. Show them one finger and two fingers and they won't know the difference. They have only two corresponding words: 1) “small / one or a little” and 2) “big / many”. It should be noted here that in the Pirahã language there is no word for “finger” (there is only “hand”), and they never point at anything with a finger - only with the whole hand.

  3. Lack of perception of integrity and particularity. In the Piraha language there are no words for “all”, “all”, “everything”, “part”, “some”. If all the members of the tribe ran to the river to swim, then the Piraha story will sound like this: “A. went for a swim, B. went, V. went, a big/lot of pirah went/let’s go.” Also, the Pirahã has no sense of proportion. White merchants have been bartering with them since the end of the 18th century and are always amazed: a piraha can bring a couple of parrot feathers and demand in return the entire luggage of the steamship, or they can bring something huge and expensive and demand a sip of vodka for it.

  4. Lack of subordination in syntax. Thus, the phrase “he told me which way he would go” is not literally translated in Piraha.

  5. Extreme poverty of pronouns. Until recently, the Pirahã most likely did not have personal pronouns at all ("I", "you", "he", "she"); those they use today are clearly borrowed from their Tupi neighbors.

  6. The absence of separate words to designate colors, and, consequently, their weak perception. Strictly speaking, there are only two words: “light” and “dark”.

  7. Extreme poverty of concepts of kinship. There are only three of them: “parent”, “child” and “brother/sister” (without any gender distinction). In addition, “parent” also means grandfather, grandmother, etc.; “child” - grandson, etc. The words “uncle”, “cousin”, etc. No. And since there are no words, there are no concepts. For example, sexual intercourse between an aunt and her nephew is not considered incest, because... there are no concepts of “aunt” and “nephew”.

  8. The absence of any collective memory older than personal experience the oldest living member of the tribe. For example, modern Pirahãs do not realize that there was once a time when there were no white people in the area at all, that they once came.

  9. Almost complete absence of any myths or religious beliefs. All their metaphysics is based solely on dreams; however, even here they do not have a clear idea of what kind of world this is. It should be noted here that in the Pirahã language there are no separate words for “thought” and “dream”. “I said”, “I thought” and “I saw in a dream” sound the same, and only the context allows you to guess what is meant. There is no hint of a creation myth. Pirahã live in the present tense and today.

  10. There is an almost complete absence of art (no patterns, no body paint, no earrings or nose rings). It should be noted that Pirahã children do not have toys.

  11. Lack of a consistent daily rhythm of life. All other people are awake during the day and sleep at night. Pirahãs don’t have this: they sleep at different times and little by little. I wanted to sleep - I lay down, slept for 15 minutes or an hour, got up, went hunting, then slept a little again. Therefore, the phrase “the village fell into a peaceful sleep” does not apply to the Pirahas.

  12. No food accumulation. There are no warehouses or storage facilities. All the meat brought from the hunt is immediately eaten, and if the next hunt is unsuccessful, they go hungry until they are lucky again.

With all this, the Pirahã are very happy with their lives. They consider themselves the most charming and attractive, and the rest - some strange subhumans. They call themselves a word that literally translates as “normal people,” and all non-Piraha (both whites and other Indians) as “brains on one side.” Interestingly, the closest (genetically) to them, the Mura Indians, were apparently once the same as them, but then assimilated with neighboring tribes, lost their language - and their primitiveness - and became “civilized”. The Pirahas remain the same as they were, and look down on the Mura.

Here are more stories about tribes and traditions: is this really true? This is where you know. Here's a recent topic like:

In Germany, in the city of Halle, there lives an unusual and one of the most amazing people on the planet, his name is Yakov Tsiperovich. The essence of his story is this: in 1979, as a result of poisoning, this man experienced a state of clinical death. Clinical death lasted one hour or so, which in itself is absolutely impossible, because the cells of the cerebral cortex die 3-5 minutes after cardiac arrest, but the most interesting thing is not this, but the fact that when he woke up a week after the incident, this person lost the ability to sleep - and not only sleep, he could not even lie down.
As soon as he assumed a horizontal position, some force literally threw him up, and this lasted 16 years. And all these years he was in a state of absolute insomnia, which, from the point of view of medicine and, in general, all our knowledge about man, is impossible .

In 1995, he began practicing yoga, and with the help of meditation and other eastern practices, he managed to force his body into a horizontal position, but for no more than 2-3 hours. But the most unusual thing in this whole story is that all these years this man has not changed at all in appearance. Now he is 58 years old, but it is impossible to give him more than 25, and this leads to certain thoughts.

But most importantly, after experiencing clinical death, his body temperature does not rise above 34 degrees.

Many experts believe that this is the reason for his youth. Unfortunately, German science, like Russian science, cannot say anything about this.

Yakov Tsiperovich was born in 1953 in Minsk, graduated from high school, then worked as an electrician in various organizations the city of Minsk and his whole life until 1979 was no different from the life of young people like him.

In 1979, as a result of severe poisoning, his heart stopped and, contrary to all known medical conditions, he was in a state of clinical death for an hour. An hour later his heart started working again, but he came to his senses only after a week. When he woke up, he realized that something incomprehensible had happened to him.

He couldn't even lie down. As soon as he assumed a horizontal position, some force immediately threw him up and it was impossible to overcome this state with any effort. In addition, he could not speak for six months; his speech was paralyzed. Something strange was happening with the body temperature; it did not exceed 33.5 degrees. Six months later, his speech was completely restored, but his voice became completely different, as if it was not his. Everything became different, even my thoughts. The brain was literally stuffed with strange and incomprehensible knowledge and the whole world seemed completely different.

Then other oddities began, completely inexplicable and incomprehensible. He stopped feeling his body, all the time there was a feeling as if he was in weightlessness, and what is most unusual is that all objects suddenly became lighter than they were before. He could jokingly rearrange a huge closet full of things, or do push-ups from the floor 10,000 times, or lift a two-pound weight like a toy with his little finger dozens of times.

There were so many oddities that now he can hardly list them all. For example, the entire thought process took place in poetic form. Then a very strange perception of people began; Yakov seemed to be reading their thoughts, but not literally, as if they were being read out loud, but on some other level inaccessible to ordinary understanding. It was as if he penetrated into the shell of the person with whom he was communicating and began to feel everything the same way as he did.

When Yakov turned 40, he suddenly realized that time had stopped for him. This was especially noticeable when he met his classmates, and even when they saw Yakov, they were completely confused; he not only looked youthful, he did not change at all, not one iota.

Now Yakov is 58 years old, but he looks the same as in the photographs of 1975. He currently lives in Germany and is one of the most famous unusual people on the planet.

What happened and how to explain it? This is probably the only case in the world when fantasy has become reality. Or is it a reminder to people how little they know about themselves.

We bring to your attention an interview compiled based on questions from visitors to the E1.RU website

Question: Hello!

I would like to know if you saw anything during your clinical death?

(I heard stories about flying along the corridor towards the light). If you saw it, please describe it briefly.

Answer: What was described by Raymond Moody in the book Life After Life largely coincided with my feelings, but these were only the first few moments (tunnel, bright light, vision of everything that was happening around my body), then there was something more that no longer fit into the framework of established ideas and descriptions of people who have experienced similar things. I turned into light, which constantly changed its shape and color, and in the form of this light substance, with great speed I rushed through a giant spiral, from time to time stopping at some of its turns. During these stops, I seemed to absorb a powerful stream of disparate and strange information. Everything was there: past, future, present. But the flow that carried all this through me made it clear that the time that flows on earth here has no meaning and therefore the past, present and future simply do not exist.

Question: Maybe you know who we are and why, and also what we should do?

Answer: Everything that exists in the Universe is part of the picture that the Creator intended and when creating it, he put a certain meaning into any, even the smallest detail of his creation. People are always trying to discover the secret of their origin, not realizing that it is in this secret that the main condition of their existence is hidden. What should we do? Fight evil. This is the meaning of our stay on this planet.

Question: Good afternoon! I was very impressed by your biography.

What’s interesting is this: how does life live in Everyday life a person with such abilities?

Doesn't it bother you?

If it helps, then what does it mean?

In any case, it's great! ;-))

Answer: Do my abilities hinder or help me? I never ask myself these questions. I simply accepted all this as a given and live in harmony with everything that happens to me, because I know that it is useless to resist.

Question: Hello Yakov!

I wonder if you recognized everyone around you after clinical death and whether people appeared whose appearance was familiar to you, but you are not familiar to them?

Thanks for the answer.

Hello to you.

Answer: After returning from there, I was preoccupied with completely different problems. The inability to lie down and, as a result, the complete lack of sleep put me in a state of horror and panic, and more than one year passed before I realized that it was possible to live in such an incredible state.

Question: Hello, I would like to ask this question: Would you like to live like everyone else or did you like what happened after clinical death (you look young)

Answer: Liked or disliked, these are probably not the right definitions in this situation. I have to live the way I live, and the fact that I don’t change outwardly... of course it’s nice.

Question: Good afternoon!

It’s very interesting what did you see during that hour in which your heart was not working, as well as during that week that you did not come to your senses?

I mean, maybe some kind of vision or dream?

Sincerely, Evgeniy!

Answer: I have already answered the question about my first sensations, but what happened next? This week that I spent after returning from there was completely erased from my consciousness, but it seems to me that at that time the brain was trying to consolidate the information I received in some of its structures.

Question: Yakov, good afternoon

Do you believe in God?

Are you afraid of death?

Answer: Yes, I believe. Am I afraid of death? I used to be afraid, but now I know: when we leave here, we come there.

Question: Hello, Yakov!

1. Do you attend church? What religion do you profess?

2. Do you have love?

Thank you. With deep respect, Irma.

Answer: When I want to turn to God, I turn to him and I don’t need intermediaries.

I have a very big love, this is my wife and my son.

Question: Have you heard anything about astral projection? Have you read the book “Journeys Out of the Body” by Robert Monroe?

Answer: I haven’t read Robert Monroe’s book, but I’ll read it someday.

Question: Do you have psychic abilities? If so, how could you use them to benefit others? It’s a shame to waste such a rare gift on trifles.

Perhaps you could use your abilities in the field of combating terrorism - preventing terrorist attacks?

Answer: Now hundreds of people are saying this, so I will remain silent.

Question: what did you see at that moment?

Answer: I have already answered this question.

Question: Dear Yakov Tsiperovich! Hello! I read about your fantastic change. This is all interesting and exciting from the outside. How do you personally cope with this change? Doesn’t the fact that you touched something not quite ordinary, something that is not yet comprehensible, scare you? Or is everything clear to you, therefore simple, easy and free?

When I accidentally felt that I could touch something mysterious, unknown, it scared me, it seemed to me that I could go crazy, but it was just as strongly attracted.

Answer: The changes that happened to me at first frightened and worried me, and of course there was a fear of losing my mind, but then a clear and distinct vision of the whole picture came and then it became easy. A person is afraid until he understands something. Understanding the problem brings liberation from it.

2. Would you like to get rid of the changes that have occurred?

3.Do you have a desire to put your abilities to the benefit of humanity?

4.Can you initialize (“infect” others with your abilities?

5. Does the future already exist or is it being created? If this is happening, then by whom?

Answer: Regarding the book, I have such plans.

Would I like to get rid of the changes that have occurred? If this is given to me, then so be it, and I am already very accustomed to these changes, after all, for 25 years.

And as for the benefit for humanity... If humanity wants, why not.

Among the huge amount of information received from the experience I have undergone, there is one that makes it possible to stop the flow of a person’s internal time (this can be used to infect other people if there is desire and will)

Question: 1. How do you assess what happened?

2. Are you scared?

3. If there are so many riddles with you, do you know that God does not speak in riddles?

Do you believe in Christ, and what does he “speak” to you in your heart regarding what happened to you?

Answer: At first I assessed what happened as a punishment for some actions. But many years later I realized that this was probably a gift after all. After all, the suffering that tormented me so much for the first time after the incident turned into completely unimaginable things and brought me to a level where no one had ever reached.

Now I'm not scared, because it seems to me that I know what awaits me around the corner.

Question: Are you tempted to try to repeat clinical death?

Answer: When I was there I really didn’t want to go back, but they forced me to do it, which means I’m needed here. Such things are repeated only upon request from there.

Question: I would die with pleasure, but where do you get the strength to live?

Answer: Each person has his route determined and he must go through it. If it’s very difficult, we need to carefully look around, there will definitely be a path leading to the spring and a clearing that will give us rest. Look around Anton carefully.

Question: How do you sleep if you cannot get into a horizontal position?

Answer: I spent the first 16 years after the incident in a state of absolute insomnia, my brain did not turn off for a second. The doctors couldn't believe it, but it was a fact.

Question: Would he wish that none of this had ever happened to him?

Answer: Previously yes, now no.

Question: Have you acquired the gift of clairvoyance?

Can you view events in the future or past?

Answer: At the level of very heightened intuition, this happens all the time.

Question: Good afternoon

If you have a wife/beloved, how does she react to a man who is nearby and does not age?

Answer: I have a wife. She is 12 years younger than me and she reacts calmly to what is happening.

Question: Yakov Tsiperovich, please tell me. Are you by any chance a zombie?

Answer: No, I'm not a zombie.

Question: Do you regret that this happened to you? Do you feel like you are omnipotent?

Answer: Not at the moment.

And I don’t feel omnipotent. I am just a small part of this huge Universe, which gave me its communication and gave me the opportunity to look at the other side of life.

Question: Hello! I’m wondering, what kind of knowledge has your brain become stuffed with?

Answer: I think I have already partially answered this question. That was very strange phenomenon. I am not able to explain it, but I will try to describe it. After leaving the body and while passing through the spiral (I described this in the answer to the first question), incomprehensible knowledge was literally pumped into me. They acted chaotically, without any consistency or explanation. They simply gave information that was related to some branches of knowledge, to science, to medicine, to philosophy. An analysis was given to many events that, it seems to me, have not even happened yet. There was a lot I couldn’t understand, and I still don’t understand, but some things were clear. In particular from the field of medicine. For example, I very clearly remember an absolutely incredible design, with the help of which you can restore people’s health with extraordinary ease and, if necessary, prolong life to almost any age. This design consisted of a certain number of cylinders, as if dressed on top of each other, but not touching each other. A person was placed in the middle of the first, smallest cylinder. He sat on a round platform, which was not in contact with the shell of the cylinder and was in a motionless state. The cylinders themselves rotated in different directions with specific rotation characteristics. It was the rotation speed of each individual cylinder that determined what was happening inside. And this is what was happening inside. Under the influence of fields unknown to me, caused by the rotation of the cylinders, a person was returned to any age. And it doesn’t matter how old a person is, what illness he has or what is happening to him now. By changing the rotation characteristics of the cylinders, you can return human body to any given state. I don’t know if it’s possible to apply this knowledge now, but I have no doubt that it will be so.

Question: What are you doing now?

How do you use your unusual abilities?

Answer: Now I do a lot of various eastern practices for self-improvement, and I also need it for the distribution of energy flows.

Question: Hello! Jacob, do you remember what happened to you when you were in a state of clinical death? did you see anything...?

What unusual has happened to you lately?

Answer: The fact of the matter is that nothing special happens to me. Time seemed to stop for me in 1979 and lasted one long, long day.

Question: Is there meaning in our life, is there purpose, is there destiny? Why are we, why?

Answer: You are asking questions that humanity has been searching for answers to for thousands of years. Many people manage to find it, many don’t, and many don’t even think about it. But it seems to me that the meaning of life is to try to make the person next to you happy. Then everyone will be fine.

Question: I am interested in one single question: WHO AM I??

Answer: The question is interesting, very simple and at the same time incredibly complex. Once upon a time I asked myself this question and this is what came out of it.

I am day, I am night,

I am the heat, I am the white frost,

I am chaos, I am a high dream,

I am an island, I am the blue canopy of heaven,

I am the bottom of life, I am the height of life.

I am one moment, I am eternity without limit,

In me alone there is flowering and decay,

I am a disembodied spirit, a suffering body,

I am freedom and the most terrible captivity.

I am two ends, and also two beginnings,

When one is not the judge of the other,

But if one of them were gone,

I wouldn't live either.

Question: Hello!

Do you remember anything from your life before the injury? During cardiac arrest, did you have any visions? Have you observed that when you wake up the next day, you notice changes in your environment? Has the weight of objects decreased abruptly? Can you fly? What do you see in dreams? Can you see through an obstacle? Or consider the terrain of another country? Can you not breathe, not eat? Do you know how to feed on the energy of the Sun? How do you perceive your age? Do you have the feeling that you are eternally 20-25 years old, and will always be so? Can you see astral beings?

Answer: You are asking about the weight of objects. This is one of the biggest strange things that happened to me. I stopped feeling the heaviness of my body; it felt like I was in weightlessness. This state could not be called comfortable, and in order to somehow get rid of it, I began to do push-ups on the floor. Sometimes I did push-ups for hours, many thousands of times, but fatigue never set in, then I grabbed the barbells, the weights, in order to somehow tire myself out. At that time, I lifted a two-pound weight with my little finger 50-60 times. But everything was useless; the feeling of heaviness in the body never came. All this was accompanied by a very strange body temperature of 33.5. This happened to me in 1980-1981. Then my body temperature gradually rose to 35. Now I don't have any constant temperature body, it changes many times during the day.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to fly yet.

Question: After what happened to you, do you have a feeling of harmony and unity with the world or, on the contrary, do you feel discomfort? And if you have acquired some new knowledge, please share it with people.

Answer: After what happened to me, a new understanding of this world came to me, and with it harmony. As for new knowledge, yes, it exists and I give a lot to people.

Question: Have you ever had to provide resuscitation to people in a state of clinical death?

Answer: No.

Question: You may laugh, but I believe you!

I believe that there are things that the human mind cannot explain.

Can you contact the deceased, in particular my son Mikhail. He died on May 24, 2000.

Answer: I sympathize with you very much, but unfortunately I do not have this gift.

Question: Hello, Yakov!

What do you consider the most valuable thing in your new life?

What is worth living for?

Thank you very much for your answer, best regards, Vera.

Answer: The most valuable thing I acquired in my new life was the experience of communicating with an incomprehensible and unknown world, which gave me the opportunity to take a new look at this life. Life is worth living for the sake of your loved ones.

Question: Please tell me if you have experienced a state of exiting physical body? Can you tell us what is there, beyond physical life?

If yes, have you met people who have gone to another world?

Answer: Yes, I really saw there, beyond this life, a lot of things that still bring me into a state of awe and bewilderment. When I tried to tell scientists and ordinary people about this, it almost always caused distrust and skepticism. There were a huge number of people, or rather entities, who were in the same light-like state as me. There was a very intense exchange of information between them, which partially overlapped with our earthly problems, but mainly it was an exchange of experience of being present in that energy world. As I understand it, some of these entities have been there for tens of thousands of years, but these periods are significant only for us, and there they have absolutely no meaning.

Question: Yakov, good afternoon!

I read about an unusual condition that appeared in you after clinical death.

I would like to know your opinion “ unusual person”, in the generally accepted sense, about the possibility of influencing human behavior through damage, the evil eye, treatment through correction of the energy of the person himself.

Best regards, Svetlana.

Answer: As far as I understand, such concepts as damage or the evil eye are nothing more than the materialization of a thought into an energy clot, which acquires the property of a projectile, the destructive power of which depends on the energy power of the person who sent it. In the same way, you can send good energy that can heal or protect a person. It is imperative to protect yourself from evil energy.

Question: Hello! When your perception and consciousness changed, how did you begin to relate to people?

Answer: With great tolerance and compassion.

Thank you very much for the interesting questions.
